The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson

Title: The Impossible Knife of Memory

Author: Laurie Halse Anderson

Ease: Moderate

Rating: 5/5

The Impossible Knife of Memory is a dark story, tinged with humour and suspense. It has a unique voice and a brave, snarky, protagonist who balances the trials of adolescence with caring for her father – an ex-soldier haunted by his past.

Helse Anderson has written a book that I couldn’t put down. I couldn’t wait to find out how Haley would combat not only her own demons but those of her father. Would she succeed in stopping her life from falling apart? Would she succeed in keeping Finn, the boy who could help her change everything.

If you’re looking for a good read, this is it.
