Busy Times Ahead!

Things are getting busy in my house. Well, can I still call it my house now that we’ve sold it? And the thing about busy times is something has to give.

We’ve finally found a house that we love and will move in there on the 14th of December. Following that we put our house on the market and were lucky enough to sell  it within a week of listing it. We’ve been busy cleaning, packing and planning.

On top of that I’m trying to get my first draft of my newest WIP done, keep up-to-date with Pieces of String and come up with ideas for Tiny Owl Workshop’s Lane of Unusual Traders. Unfortunately, these are the things that have slid a little on the priority list because the other things have solid deadlines attached. If all our things aren’t ready to move on the 14th then that’s going to cause problems for my whole family.

That said, busy times can also exciting times and while some things have to be pushed to the back burner at the moment, I’m so excited to move into our new place and start making it feel like home.

I’m curious to know, how do you manage things when they get busy? What’s the first thing to drop down your priority list?
