Valentine’s Day

Roses are red,

Hearts are too,

But does Valentine’s day

Make you feel blue?

You’re not alone –

Many feel sad.

And unmet expectations

Make others feel bad.

While the shops and tv

Make you believe

If you can’t afford diamonds,

You lover will leave.

But take comfort in knowing,

Love isn’t an art.

On any day, what matters,

Is what’s in your heart.

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? If not, why not? And if so, what will you be doing this year? Happy Valentine’s Day.
