I Crawl Through It by A.S. King

Title: I Crawl Through It

Author: A.S. King

Ease: Moderate

Rating: 5/5

I Crawl Through It is a weird read with a surrealist feel but the issues faced by the four main characters are real and relevant.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I liked it but I kept reading because I wanted to know what was going on. Who was sending the bomb threats? Was the helicopter real? Why was there a naked guy selling letters for kisses?

At it’s core, I Crawl Through It, is a book about four teenagers crying out for help and the adults around them who are equally broken. I loved the story, the characters and I grew to love King’s unique spin on reality. If you’re after something a bit different, it’s certainly worth a look.
